Centralized Lubrication Systems, Hydraulics and Pneumatics

Taco MQL units (Minimum Quantity Lubrication) are designed to lubricate and refrigerate tools and surfaces externally.
There are two different units: fixed flow rate and adjustable flow rate.
There are two different models of command: electrically, through a solenoid valve, or pneumatically through a pneumatic frequency generator. The pumps are connected with two external pipes or tubes, one is for air line and the another for oil or coolant line. The spray nozzles can be rigid or orientable, and there are so many different sort of nozzles depending on the work to do. The spraying lances can be fixed with screws or with magnet plates.

Taco MCA and MQ4 series are designed to lubricate tools from its interior with a continuos and fresh oil. The units are prepared to lubricate tools with different diameters.
The working principle is to inject drops into air compressed line, this air transforms the oil in a mist and this mist is at the same time is injected into the main compressed air line, a second air line, and then all this mist is driven to the tool. This second air line is branched off into the internal of the lubrication unit and its pressure can be adjusted independently to allow an enough pressure to do the work. The lubrication unit has a pump and a regulator where to adjust the drops per minute needed for each production process.

In the MCA series from 1 to 20 drops per minute can be adjusted, each drop has a volume of 0’1cc. In the MQ4 series from 1 to 60 drops per minute can be adjusted and each drop has a volume of 0’08cc, in particular this model has two internal lubrication lines, first for smaller tolls and the other one where it is activated for a solenoid valve and more quantity of oil can be feed in the same lubrication line for those production processes where it is necessary more quantity of oil.
