The main function in using DM oil air distributors is to lubricate high speed roller bearings. The DM working principle is a positive displacement injector where due by the pump pressure the injector dispense a measured quantity of oil. The same block has several air needle valves, one for each outlet, where the air flow can be adjusted in the outlet tube. The injector dispenses the oil droplets into this outlet pipe and the air propels the oil along the tube length, at the end of the tube a nozzle is installed and the air expansion passing through it generates an efficient oil spray to lubricate the bearing.
